Analisis Sektor Ekonomi Unggulan Dalam Provinsi Kalimantan Timur

Abstract

Economic development cannot be separated from economic growth, where development economy boost economic growth. This report aims to understand leading sectors and non seeded in the economy of Kalimantan Timur Province , knowing a sector that had the biggest impact to Kalimantan Timur Province.The information which used in this research is secondary data sourced from BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Timur Province. The information included in this research is GDRP Kalimantan Timur Province 2012-2016The method used is Location Quotient (LQ), Shift Share, MRP, Overlay, and KlassenThypology which shows that economic sector is categorized sector basis it was mining and quarrying.  Sector that have a rapid growth rate in the economic shift is a construction, transportation and storage, accommodation and food service activities, information and communication, financial and insurance, business activities, education, human health and social work activities, and other service activities.  Sector that have strong competitiveness are agriculture, forestry and fishing, electricity and gas, water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation, public administration, defence and compulsory social security, education, human health and social work activities. Keyword : Kalimantan Timur Province, Leading Sector’s , GDRP, Location Quetient (LQ), Shift Share (SS), MRP, Overlay, Klassen Thypologi
