Abstract

The charging of electric cars is an open field of innovation for power converters control. Different hardware (e.g active filters) and software solutions (e.g. non-linear control law) are used to mitigate on the one hand the constrains of the connection to the electric distribution network and on the other hand the power demands of the battery. In this paper a non-linear back-stepping based control is proposed for an industrial charger.
