Robust $mathcal{H}_{infty}$ Pointing Error Control of Free Space Optical Communication Systems 自由空间光通信系统的稳健$mathcal{H}_{infty}$指向误差控制

This paper proposes a robust $mathcal{H}_{infty}$ approach for free space optical (FSO) beam pointing error systems. First, a deterministic discrete-time model for pointing error loss due to misalignment is presented. This model considers detector aperture size and optical beam width. Then, the control problem that guarantees the stability of the closed-loop pointing error and the attenuation of the disturbance is investigated through a robust $mathcal{H}_{infty}$ control framework. Finally, numerical simulations of the FSO link under the effect of a controlled weak turbulence condition are performed to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed robust pointing error approach.

Incremental Reference Generation for Nonsingular Control on $SE (3)$ $SE(3)$上非奇异控制的增量参考生成

Rotational singularities inherent to three different geometric controllers on $SE (3)$ are studied. A new singularity-free method of incrementally generating a reference rotation is proposed, removing a class of singularities without affecting proven stability properties of the closed-loop systems. If satisfying a bound on attitude rate and maximum loop rate in the reference generation, the proposed synthesis of a controlled rotation enables complex manoeuvres on the entirety of $SE (3)$, demonstrated with high-velocity loops on a toroid surface.

A Distributed Parameter Approach to Model the Transcriptional Response of Escherichia Coli in a Scale-Down Reactor 用分布参数方法模拟大肠杆菌在缩小反应器中的转录反应

Scale-up is a major challenge in bioprocess engineering. Because physically achievable mixing times in large-scale bioreactors are limited, gradients of dissolved oxygen are likely to occur. Since the impact on performance of production strains in this environment is poorly understood, we address this question by developing a distributed parameter model. This approach makes it possible to model the adaptive behavior of Escherichia coli during reoccurring switches between oxygen free and oxygen rich environments. We use a set of first-order hyperbolic partial differential equations actuated by spatially varying activation dynamics. The design of the distributed parameter model is based on a scale-down bioreactor, which is used for an experimental validation of the simulation results.

Passivity-Short-based Stability Analysis on Electricity Market Trading System Considering Negative Price 考虑负电价的电力市场交易系统的被动-短期稳定性分析

This paper deals with a distributed decision method for determining the electricity price considering the negative price in the market trading. In addition, we analyze the stability and convergence properties for the market trading system using the concept of passivity-short. At first, mathematical models of market participants' behavior which maximize their own profits are discussed. Then, we construct a trading system based on dynamic pricing considering plug and play operation that each market participant intermittently participates in market trading. As for the optimal electricity price, even if the optimal price might be negative, we indicate the stability of the system can be guaranteed by using passivity-short which is a relaxed concept of passivity. Finally, numerical simulation results illustrate that each value decided by the market trading converges to the optimal value.

A Terminal Sliding Mode Approach for the Rotor Side Converter of a DFIG-Based Wind Energy System 基于dfig的风能系统转子侧变换器的终端滑模方法

This paper proposes a terminal sliding mode approach for the rotor side converter of a DFIG-based wind turbine. It aims at enabling the wind turbine to satisfactorily operate under unbalanced grid conditions such as voltage sags, while ensuring high performance dynamic responses in the presence of uncertainties and external disturbances. The controller was derived using a novel terminal sliding mode structure based on the tracking errors of the rotor currents. The controller parameters were auto-tuned using a fuzzy logic approach. The performance of the proposed approach was assessed using realistic settings including voltage sags of various depths and parameter variations. A comparison analysis with a standard SMC was also carried out.

Improvement of Ship Motion Control Using a Magnitude-Rate Saturation Model 利用幅值率饱和模型改进船舶运动控制

Motion control concepts for ships have traditionally not focused on handling actuator constraints. This paper investigates the effects on performance of a pair of nonlinear control schemes by developing and implementing a magnitude-rate saturation (MRS) model. The effects of using the MRS model is tested in experiments with a model ship in an ocean basin. Performance metrics are used to evaluate performance in terms of control error, energy efficiency, and actuator wear and tear.

Linearly Combining Sensor Measurements Optimally to Enforce an SPR Transfer Matrix 线性组合传感器测量的最佳执行SPR传输矩阵

This paper presents methods to combine measurements of a linear time-invariant system in such a manner that the new system obtained is strictly positive real (SPR). In particular, this paper focuses on how to best combine measurements in a linear fashion by minimizing the difference in an $mathcal{H}_{2}$ or $mathcal{H}_{infty}$ sense between the new system and a given desired system. The methods proposed to linearly combine sensor measurements rely on linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which lead to tractable synthesis procedures. Numerical examples involving noncolocated elastic mechanical systems are provided that illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed techniques when used for output tracking control.

Robust Current Decoupling in a Permanent Magnet Motor Combining a Geometric Method and SMC 结合几何方法和SMC的永磁电机鲁棒电流解耦

In this work, a new control strategy for a permanent magnet linear motor is conceived. Geometric methods and sliding mode control are combined to reduce the effects of the nonlinearities due to the interaction between the coil currents and to achieve robust positioning. In fact, due to the presence of the induced voltage, the effects of nonlinearities cannot be cancelled without the help of other auxiliary and intrinsically robust techniques. Indeed, the sliding mode controller which is devised makes the whole structure robust with respect to any kind of inaccessible external and internal disturbance, such as induced voltages, loads, and parametric uncertainties. In particular, the paper indicates necessary conditions for the existence of a so-called decoupling sliding mode control scheme. The proposed method has the advantage of providing a controller which has a very simple structure, can be applied to a large variety of actuators and guarantees very good power performance with respect to the non-compensated decoupling controller. Simulation results are reported to validate the proposed methodology.

This paper addresses a system identification problem for multiple isolated systems whose parameters are partially identical. An approach to the problem is a centralized identification; a single estimator collects all the input-output data from all of the systems to estimate their parameters at once. However, the approach can be practically infeasible when it is applied to a large number of systems due to the limitation of computational and communication resources. To solve the issue, we propose a method of a networked identification composed of two stages: 1) Multiple estimators collect the data from their own target systems to independently derive temporary estimates of their parameters and a covariance matrix of the estimates. 2) Then, with communicating the temporary estimates and the covariance matrix, they update their estimates. We also show the optimality of the proposed networked identification method with respect to the modeling accuracy, which is equivalently achieved by the centralized identification. Finally, we show the effectiveness of the proposed method in a numerical simulation.

Robust D-Stability Testing Function for LTI Fractional Order Interval Systems LTI分数阶区间系统的鲁棒d -稳定性检验函数

This paper investigates the robust D-stability test of LTI fractional order interval systems (FOISes). The Dstability includes the performance of an LTI system in addition to stability. The coefficients of the system transfer function are uncertain parameters that each adopts a value in a real interval. Firstly, the concept of the value set is extended to the FOISes, and a necessary and sufficient condition is presented to study the robust D-stability of FOISes. Secondly, the value set of the FOISes is obtained analytically, and based on it a robust Dstability testing function is introduced to check the presented condition. The results obtained are applicable to systems of both commensurate and incommensurate orders. Finally, the theorems presented are applied to a space tether system.
