About 2.7 times gain can be achieved by NC-B-VHF. The paper also predicts a drastically increasing of the capacity of NC-B-VHF if involves the structure of the cognitive radio, which makes the subcarriers dynamically adapt to the spectrum holes and the interference from the out-of-bands. Abstract
