Furthermore, job satisfaction and organisational commitment mediates the relation between emotional intelligence and knowledge sharing behaviour. The study suggests that management must induce such human resource management programs that develop positive employees' job attitudes and behaviour and devise selection tool to identify employees' emotional intelligence. Abstract

The main objective of the research is to investigate the relation between emotional intelligence and knowledge sharing behaviour and its underlying mechanism. In knowledge intensive era, knowledge sharing behaviour is contemplated as an inevitable factor to foster organisational success.
