It is a work written at the beginning of the century. The author of the work is a Naqshbandi sheikh named Ebu't-Tevfîk es-Sayyid Sheik İbrahim Sırrî. Tercüme-i Tafsîr-i Hâzin was created by transferring Hâzin al-Bağdâdî's interpretation of the Qur'an, named Lübâbü't-Te'vil fî Me‘ani't-Tenzil, into Turkish. It is known that Lübâbü't-Te'vil fî Meâni't-Tenzil was translated into Turkish by Musa b. Hacı Hüseyin el-İznikî in XV century by under the name of Tafsîri'l-Lübâb. In other words, Hâzin al-Bağdâdî's commentary was translated into Turkish by different authors in different centuries. Translated into Turkish by Ebu't-Tevfîk es-Seyyid Sheikh İbrahim Sırrî in the 19th century, Lübâbü't-Te'vil was mistakenly mistaken for a copy of Tafsîri'l-Lübâb and recorded in the name of Musa bin Hacı Hüseyin el-İzniki in the catalog of manuscripts of the Süleymaniye Library. When Tercüme-i Tafsîr-i Hâzin is examined, it is clearly seen that the work does not belong to İznikî but to Sheikh İbrahim. In this article, after a short evaluation of Tercüme-i Tafsîr-i Hâzin, the subject will be tried to be explained by giving place to the determinations we made about the original author of the work.
