The paper focuses on the main topics, image registration, image interpolation and image super-resolution reconstruction. The problem is defined, current techniques are presented. For example, in image interpolation, polynomial based image interpolation is reviewed, some new techniques for adaptive image interpolation and inverse image interpolation are presented. Other topics are treated in the same manner. Important applications for the HR image reconstruction are presented. Further insight on some problems in the field of SR are presented. Abstract
This paper presents a survey on existing as well as new trends in the field of high resolution (HR) image processing. The paper focuses on the main topics, image registration, image interpolation and image super-resolution reconstruction. The problem is defined, current techniques are presented.
