Transient field radiation of plane disk into nonlinear medium

Abstract

The problem of radiation of impulse transient electromagnetic field from plane disk source into unbounded nonlinear medium is considered by evolutionary approach. The initial Maxwell equations are converted to set of evolutionary equations on time and longitudinal coordinate. The plane disk radiation problem is set for inhomogeneous evolutionary equations. The analytical solution is obtained by Riemann function method in time domain. it is proposed to account a weak nonlinearity of a medium by method of successive approximations.
