Abstract

Mathematical modeling is an important practical activity that solves practical problems by using all kinds of mathematical knowledge comprehensively. Various kinds of mathematical modeling contests full of vitality and broad space for development not only provide students with the ability to demonstrate applied mathematics, but also put forward clearer demands for mathematics teaching in colleges and universities. It is a serious problem for mathematics teachers to integrate the idea of mathematical modeling into the daily teaching of probability theory and mathematical statistics so that students can learn the course better.
