Abstract

Buck-Boost Converter with Coupled-Inductor (BBCCI) can be utilized to equivalent the DC-input source-voltage with the load-voltage. Current mode-regulator can be utilized to synchronize the output-voltage of the BBCCI system. Modeling and regulation of BBCCI becomes an important issue. This paper deals with modeling and simulation of closed-loop BBCCI system through current mode-regulator using MATLAB. The goal of this work is to enhance the lively response of the closed-loop BBCCI system utilizing current mode regulation. The closed-loop controlled BBCCI systems with voltage mode and current modes are modeled, simulated and the outcomes are analyzed. The outcomes denote that the lively response is improved using CM controller. The recommended system has benefits like low THD, low settling-time and steady-state error. The hardware is fabricated and tested. The experimental results match with the simulation results of BBCCI.
