Real-time energy usage data is collected by an Arduino Mega Wi-Fi R3 and transmitted to the central cloud database, where it is processed and stored using the ASP.NET Core framework. The use of a cloud-based technique provides a cost-effective and streamlined solution for utility companies with the goal of eliminating the need for on-premises storage and processing resources.
