Abstract
In this paper, a millimeter-wave antenna array with wide scanning angle is designed. To solve the wide-angle scanning problem, a layered design is adopted to the antenna element, and the proposed antenna array can realize a wide operating bandwidth in 24.25 −27.50 GHz. Afterward, a wide-angle scanning array with the artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) ground is proposed. Simulated results show that the antenna array can scan from −75°to 75° in the range of the 5G NR bands of 24.25 −27.50 GHz. This design can be used to guide the design of wide-angle scanning arrays.
