The Auto LISP file can be run using AutoCAD to generate a 3D model for the damper. These drawings and the model can be used directly on the shop floor for manufacture of the dampers. This expert system reduces the design time of engineer and works as an assistant in designing of dampers. By saving time for initial designing of damper, the productivity of engineers can be increased. Abstract

In the present work an expert system has been developed for designing of dampers.
