The aim of this paper is to create a basis for planning the structure of plum production in the coming period, based on adequate analysis in the past, as well as determining the trends of the given parameters in the future. Based on data taken from official publications of the Statistical office of the Republic of Serbia for the period from 2005 to 2020, applying the calculated annual rate of change in %, the tendency of the observed phenomenon in the analyzed period was determined and on the basis of it a quantitative prediction of production characteristics for the period of five years, 2021-2025 was made. Abstract
The subject of this paper is the production characteristics of plum in Republic of Serbia: harvested area, annual production and yield in the period 2005-2020.
