However, data in OSM format only contains elementary node coordinates and relationships between them, which lacks the two-dimensional information of road construction for wide intersections. Moreover, OSM formatted data relies on the simple connection between nodes, causing the measurement error of the road smoothness and the unnaturalness of transition, which is challenging especially in some complex intersections. In this paper, we proposed an efficient method of constructing road intersection based on the basic node connection data and it is suitable for the simulation of irregular multi junctions.
