Simulation result shown that IEEE 802.11p achieved 9% throughput gain over IEEE 802.11b as a MAC protocol. Moreover, the AODV routing protocol outperformed OLSR by 3%, 4%, and 55% in term of throughput, packet delivery ratio, and end to end delay respectively.
