Abstract
STEP Development Tools (SDT) is a general-purpose microprogram development system. The METASTEP language system is composed of four tools of the SDT needed to write microprograms: a Definition Processor, a Retargetable Assembler, a Retargetable Cross-Assembler, and a Relocatable Linker.
