Abstract

The main objective of this research was to identify the dynamic characteristics of tall buildings. In this research, existing 6-story Engineering faculty building and proposed 14-story new engineering faculty building of Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) were analyzed using finite element method to identify their dynamic characteristics.
