Abstract

An electrically small, low profile, multi-band, wireless USB dongle antenna is proposed in this paper. The antenna is able to operate at LTE 700 in the lower band while in the higher band, it covers GPS (1.6 GHz), DCS 1800/PCS1900 and LTE 2300/2600. Besides that, this antenna also operates over WLAN 2.4/3.6 GHz and WiMAX 3.5 GHz frequency bands. The antenna is designed based on a spiral shaped radiator with an L-shaped stub along its feed line.
