Abstract
Besides server supported solutions for Video-on-demand, approachesbased on distributed systems such as BitTorrent are being used dueto their efficiency and high scalability. There are several protocolvariants proposed in the literature, which are mainly concerned withproviding mechanisms for piece selection and peer selection.
