Abstract

In this paper an algorithm, called Multilayer Dynamic Channel Management scheme (ML-DCM) is proposed to reallocate channels in a hierarchical cellular network. This proposed algorithm is based on reducing the dropping handofs and on balancing load between microcells and overlaying macrocell.
