The reserach used quantitative method with method using quasi-experimental design. The study sample was divided into two groups: experimental and control. In this study, the authors was applied online learning considering the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus. The pre-test was given at the beginning of the study in each class, and then followed by given the treatment of the roundtable technique in composing descriptive text in the experimental class and small group discussion in the control class. After that, a post-test was given at the end of the study. Furthermore, the data was analyzed by using SPSS 21. The findings of the independent t-test revealed that the significant value generated Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 smaller than 0.05. 本研究的目的是要找出圆桌技巧是否有效地撰写八年级的描述性文字在SMP 3丹中槟榔。研究采用准实验设计的定量方法。研究样本分为两组:实验组和对照组。在本研究中,作者考虑到Covid-19病毒的爆发,应用在线学习。在每个班的学习开始时进行预测,然后在实验班进行圆桌写作描述性文本的处理,在对照组进行小组讨论。之后,在研究结束时进行后测。采用SPSS 21软件对数据进行分析。独立t检验结果显示,显著性值产生Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000,小于0.05。因此,本研究支持使用圆桌技巧对小学八年级学生撰写描述性文字有效的假设。关键词:写作,描述文本,圆桌会议
