This requires programs that integrate the postfix e-mail system with DTN2, implemented using bash shell and awk, for sending and receiving e-mail. The email system has been tested in the real condition using trains. Abstract

DTN protocol can overcome network problems such as intermittent connectivity, long or variable delay, asymmetric data rates, and high error rates.
