The sensorless techniques that are based on a hysteresis comparator and inductance method with a high starting torque are suggested. Combined with the application of drilling rig system, analyzed the performance requirements of brushless DC motors (BLDCM) in the fields of low speed, and discussed the control method of the dr sensorless BLDCM, developed an prototype of sensorless BLDCM control system based on dsPIC33FJ32MC204. Started the motor in closed-loop mode by using inductance method and BEMF zero crossing detecting method, the motor speed range was effectively expanded. Abstract
