University theses in some Arab countries between reality and ambition, historical studies as a model

Abstract

Postgraduate studies have a great place among students of science in Arab countries, as they are the link with researchers in different parts of the world, and it is a clear image for researchers of self-development. It is obvious that there are clear differences in the educational structure of postgraduate studies in our Arab countries, and in front of this matter, it was necessary to conduct a study to review the most important detail of postgraduate studies, which is university theses, especially those that specialized in history, as this specialization is directly related to the life of People, from history we can be inspired by sermons and lessons that help us to overcome the mistakes of people who preceded us, and perhaps the most beneficiaries of the study of history are the leaders and rulers of the country, so we see that the reader of history behaves wisely and whoever does not read and understand history will fall into catastrophic mistakes. The research dealt with the university thesis in all its details, starting with the introduction and its contents, then the thesis chapters and how to arrange them, then a comparison between the topics and sub-disciplines of history among the countries of the Arab world, the research plan and how to plan and address it, as well as the topics covered by theses in some Arab countries in terms of the fact that Those letters dealt with political, social, economic or religious history, and so on, and all matters related to the university thesis until its conclusion.
