Abstract
This paper presents a 10 GHz substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) multi-beam tapered slot antenna (TSA) array using beam switching techniques for the first time. This structure is consists of Rotman lens, phase shift network and linear array of radiating elements. Both Rotman lens and radiating parts are connected through unequal wide SIW phase shifter network. A prototype lens is designed with 7 beam ports and 9 array ports. Unlike conventional Rotman lens Vivaldi multi-beam antennas; the proposed design only represents a planar structure operating at 8 to 12 GHz with scanning capability over (-24°,+24°).
