The proposed method basically adopts the 4-point-based Lagrange interpolation. When the interpolated pixel value using Lagrange interpolation is invalid, the order Lagrange polynomial is reduced for selecting more reliable results. Abstract
In this paper, we present an advanced interpolation algorithm to up-scale high definition (HD) and full-HD streams to 4K ultra-HD (UHD) videos.
