Abstract

This study takes into account the language-related immigration issues of Turkish Speaking folks. Therefore, it studies TSSs as bilingual learners and English as additional language learners in terms of arrivals to the mainstream school, in the UK context. Ethnic and identity issues are also intrigued in the construction of TS Communities in the UK. In addition, in this work I examine the history of Turkish Speaking Communities’ immigration to the UK and provide data conducting first and secondary sources.In this study, I provide a literature review on identity issues, settlement patterns of Turkish-Speaking People and their immigration history.
