Abstract

The progress of the telecommunication technologies based on multimedia and Internet opened up a new field in area of measurement. Modern data acquisition systems are consisted of a number of intelligent units, usually located near the process or driven objects. Thus, virtual laboratories are invented after the Internet accessible systems first realizations. In this paper we will explain our realization of a distance measurement laboratory for intelligent measurement module characteristics verification, with a special turn on software part.
