It is compared with the Bat algorithm and the Particle Swarm Optimization to find the most efficient among them. Abstract

The primary role of Economic Load Dispatch (ELD) is for obtaining the most efficient operation out of a power system generation network. The main objective of performing the ELD is to minimize the generator fuel cost. The minimum cost function found using optimization techniques is a widely researched area.
