The LCL type of the filter provides significant reduction of the current ripple. On the other hand the stability of the circuit is reduced as well, especially the current control stability which is the reason for double current control implementation. This solution provides direct current control of both the converter input and output side currents while the main control requirement is to provide the precise sinusoidal output current waveform. Abstract
This paper describes control algorithm for the controlled single-phase H-bridge power inverter with LCL filter. The LCL type of the filter provides significant reduction of the current ripple.
