In some cases, the alcohol in blood can have positive effect, especially on precision and speed of reactions, but only till some level of alcohol in blood. This positive effect has been proven during study on final approach and maintaining the glide path. In the article were proposed three exercises, during which remote pilot will be tested on precision, correctness, and time of his reactions during after alcohol consumption and during low blood sugar, in other words–hypoglycemia. Abstract
The effect of hypoglycemia on remote control pilot was not tested yet, while the effect of hypoglycemia and alcohol on commercial pilots is known. In some cases, the alcohol in blood can have positive effect, especially on precision and speed of reactions, but only till some level of alcohol in blood. This positive effect has been proven during study on final approach and maintaining the glide path.
