Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, it shows that the pretest results of students in solving HOTs-based questions are still low with an average of 31.07, and after being given treatment by applying a contextual learning approach, students' ability to solve HOTs-based questions based on the posttest average increased to 84 .57 with very high category. While the results of the t-test with a test-value of 65 obtained tcount = 15.515, for a significance value of 0.000. Abstract

本研究旨在探讨情境学习在提高学生数学解题能力方面的有效性。这类研究是实验性研究,研究设计采用一组前测后测设计。研究对象为SMP Negeri 2 Praya Timur班学生,共42名学生。数据收集工具采用作文(essay)形式的笔试,数据分析采用t检验。描述性统计分析的结果显示,学生在解决热点问题的前测成绩仍然很低,平均为31.07分,而在采用情境学习方法进行处理后,学生解决热点问题的后测平均能力提高到84.57分,类别非常高。而检验值为65的t检验结果得到tcount = 15.515,显著性值为0.000。综上所述,情境学习方法对于提高学生解决热点问题的能力是有效的。关键词:语境学习,热点问题
