It has good horizontal omnidirectivity and horizontal directivity coefficient is greater than −4dB. Then a 1:160 scale model of array element antenna is designed, fabricated and tested. Abstract

High-Frequency (HF) communication has played an irreplaceable role in long-distance communication. With the increasing requirements of modern high-speed ships, new requirements are put forward for shipborne HF antenna. A novel embedded shipborne HF antenna is introduced in this paper.
