Abstract

A new configuration of composite right/left handed (CRLH) metamaterial structure is proposed, which comprises of TE-resonant dielectric resonators and metallic parallel mesh plates. The balanced CRLH transmission lines are designed by adjusting the optimal distance between the mesh plates for a given size of the mesh windows.
