Abstract

Due to strong ionospheric distortions and Radio Frequency Interference (RFI), radio astronomy observation at frequencies below 30MHz is not feasible on earth. This paper reviews the space-based antenna technology of current and planned low frequency radio astronomy missions. The technical specification and structure characteristic of antenna has been detailed described.
