It is shown what forms of information security training are in the classroom (situational tasks, role-playing and business games, watching educational animated videos) and in the extracurricular (information security olympiads, thematic classroom hours, discussion platforms, extracurricular activities, meetings with IT workers, visiting IT enterprises) activities should prevail. Abstract

The article substantiates the need for information security training in Russian schools. A review of informatics textbooks from 1985 to the present is given with a view to changing views on teaching safe work with information resources, highlighting the dominant areas that are reflected in educational materials.
