Abstract

This work shows the methodology development process for generation 3d computer models of the patients with femoral diaphysis fracture, who was participated in a clinic study. The leg model was constructed from lateral and frontal radiographs of the fracture (after being stabilized) so it is unique to each patient. The volumes considered for the reconstruction were: the femoral diaphysis, the fracture, the fracture zone, muscle and the skin.
