However the analysis shows that there is no single recovery scheme that performs well for all mobile environments. In this paper, we analysis how checkpointing and handoff schemes affect performance and effectiveness metrics, and then determine mobile environments where a particular recovery scheme is best suited. We get the optimal checkpointing interval function for minimizing the total execution time in the Logging recovery scheme.
