Abstract

This article presents a novel quad-band antenna for mm-wave $\boldsymbol{5\mathrm{G}}$ applications. The quad-band characteristics have been achieved by etching the u-slot along with the two open-ended slots from the top of the rectangular patch. The antenna is having a patch size of 2.25 $\boldsymbol{\times 3.04}$ mm2. The designed antenna is having a maximum efficiency of 99.24% and the AR value $\boldsymbol{ < 3\text{dB}}$ in the range (43.270-43.673) GHz.
