Abstract

A new method intended for use with digital beamforming array control is presented. It consists of replacing the signals from failed array elements using reconstructed signals from other elements in the array. The method can be applied in the presence of a multiplicity of external noise or jamming signals to provide low sidelobe control for each signal.
