Abstract

Improving visibility on medical images is crucially important for facilitating diagnostic accuracy. We propose a method which aims at improving visibility on medical images by means of detail enhancement. The core techniques we employ to achieve detail enhancement are coefficient estimation and coefficient refinement, and all are manipulated in wavelet domain.
