Abstract

The work is devoted to the study of the frequency response (phase response) of combined UWB antennas. Some researchers determine the bandwidth of single UWB antennas basing on these parameters. In this work, the fact of the existence of identical frequency (phase) response of combined antennas in the transmitting and receiving mode and, consequently, the possibility of determining these parameters for a single antenna by previously proposed methods is questioned.
