Abstract

In this paper, we propose an analysis system for skin texture through image processing. First, we did texture analysis on images of human skin to find out the features which produce the biggest marked difference in the texture condition between a cheek and a back of a chin. Second, we made an evaluation system which can express how much texture condition of a cheek is different from that of a back of a chin focused on the number of cristae cutis. Our proposed analysis system can automatically estimate human skin surface condition based on subjective evaluation from our various skin images.
