SIW has acquired a valuable and various kinds of researches, extending from microwave to optical bands due to their outstanding properties such as low costs, low losses, small footprints followed by incorporating with other types of PCBs. SIW structures can be used to prevail the above-mentioned advantages readily compared to various kinds of technologies such as co-planar waveguides, conventional waveguides, micro-strip transmission lines and so on. The indispensable cavity mode is designed on Substrate integrated waveguide to resonate at 2.4 GHz.
