The model validation was carried out through experimental results obtained by testing a specific application of this type of systems. The results demonstrate an optimization of the equipment fed by the system (netbook), increasing autonomy by 5 hours on a clear day in a month of winter in the city of Corrientes, Argentina. Abstract

This article presents the development of a portable stand-alone photovoltaic system (SAPS) and the mathematical model that allows simulating its behavior and optimizing the design.
