12. Philosophy of moderation between intellect and Revelation Islamic Doctrine and contemporary Era

Abstract

Revelation and the acquisition of intellect are two major sources of knowledge that have left the world in such a state of conflict that some religions could not fulfill the requirements of the intellect by only with holding the revelation and some people in response accepted only the intellect and denied the revelation. And as a result, the world suffered a spiritual and moral decline. Between these two extremes, Islam presents a beautiful combination of reason and revelation, which ornaments with harmony, unity and philosophy. Applying discourse analysis method in this article to study concludes the religion and intellectual Debate, and sheds light on the balance and combination of reason and revelation in the light of Islamic teachings.
