Abstract

In the azimuth speed control of mobile satcom flat antenna (AMSFA), the control performance is influenced by the elevation angle. This problem is difficult to overcome by the traditional PID algorithm or the Fuzzy PID algorithm. This paper studied the active disturbance rejection controller (ADRC) for the AMSFA. To show the advantage of the ADRC algorithm, the simulation experiments of step response, tracking and disturbance were made in the environment of MATLAB/Simulink. The results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm not only has a faster response and a higher accuracy than the traditional PID and the fuzzy PID, but also can suppress the high frequency disturbance effectively.
