Abstract
The Aerial Laboratory of the Voyeykov Geophysical Observatory, in which many theoretical concepts developed by scientists of the former Soviet Union were tested over recent years, is briefly described. The payload of remote sensing devices of the laboratory are outlined, their capabilities and principal technical specifications described, and involvement in major research programs summarized.
