New Graduate Programs for Land Administration at The University of New South Wales

Abstract

Australian companies and government departments are major contributors to land titling projects in developing countries. To support these projects. and in particular the Indonesian Land Administrative Program (ILAP). the School of Geomatic Engineering. The University of New South Wales, has developed a Graduate Diploma and a Master degree in the field of Land Administration. This paper provides a background to the development of these courses and the course structure. The paper was originally presented at the International Conference on Land Tenure and Administration held in Aorida (USA) in November. 1996.
